Founded by Clay Schlinke, Invest 5S was built on generations of experience, family values, and a deep belief that real estate investing is one of the most powerful ways to create long-term wealth. As a family-owned and operated real estate investment company in Texas, we’ve spent more than two decades helping investors, VA buyers, and families grow wealth through turnkey, income-producing properties designed for stability, cash flow, and appreciation.

    Clay Schlinke learned the value of real estate investing early, growing up around parents and grandparents who understood the power of putting hard-earned capital to work in property. Inspired by those lessons, Clay purchased his first investment property at just 21 years old.

    Between 1995 and 2002, Clay flipped approximately 120 homes per year, gaining hands-on experience in every stage of the real estate lifecycle. That foundation led him to expand into new construction development, taking projects from raw land to fully built, rent-ready duplexes and fourplexes.

    Since then, Invest 5S has developed more than 5,000 residential units, including duplexes, fourplexes, multifamily homes, and single-family investment properties throughout San Antonio, DFW, and other high-growth Texas markets.

      What truly sets Invest 5S apart is that everything we do stays in-house. Our family is directly involved in every stage of the investment process, from land acquisition and development to construction, financing coordination, and long-term property management.
